w7 x64 upgrade SP1 fails - error 80070003

I just bought a new PC (Intel i7-2600) with windows 7 installed.
I did windows upgrades.
All upgrades went OK.

The latest upgrade was to SP1
--- a very large one.
--- downloading OK
--- preparing install OK
--- configuring install Ok
--- install: after 10% the install fails, windows 7 is turned back to original status.

The messages are:


ERROR_PATH_NOT_FOUND

All steps of:
Windows Update error 80070003

are done without any success.


PC Medion/P5303D/i7-2600/6GB/1,6TB/GTX460
windows 7 Home Premium x64

Also downloading of full upgrade and installation of full SP1 from Microsoft website does not provide solution. This is manual procedure, not windows update.

Any way to solve this issue/problem.
