I have two pcs I would like to share my media from to Boxee. The xp machine works like a charm- all media streamed to Boxee. For the life of me I can't get my w7 machine to do the same. I have enabled sharing, password off, etc. and no matter what Boxee see's my W7 machine BUT will not stream it's media. I even entered the w7 IP address manually, still nothing. I posted this over on the Boxee forum as well, but if someone can please help? Is there a conflict cause the XP machine is workgroup and w7 homegroup?

There has to be something very basic I am missing here- Thxs in advance for any help/suggestions.

The fact that you are using both a workgroup and a homegroup in the same network will usually create problems for you. With a mixed Op system network it's best to set up a Workgroup using the same workgroup name for all machines. Besides the usual sharing permissions you will also need to go into WMP and enable the streaming permissions on the Win 7 machines.
