Although this is off topic considering what direction this thread has taken, for the original question there's a simple solution and answer:
- To change XP Mode's resolution and window size when integration features are enabled and Display Properties > Settings > Resolution is disabled, drag the window from it's corner's to any size you want to. XP Mode adapts to these changes and automatically changes the resolution to match new windows size (click screenshots to enlarge):
- To change the XP Mode's resolution and window size when integration is disabled, the Display Properties > Settings > Resolution works normally and you can change resolution normally as in real XP.
