Is it the actual stick you've set to boot first in BIOS setup, or a USB option? Because the stick is often listed under HD's.
Try tapping at bootup the one-time BIOS Boot Menu key which every computer/mobo has, usually given on first screen. Then look for stick by name, possible under HD's:
Asus - F8
HP/Compaq - Esc
Sony - F2
Acer - F2
Gateway - F10
eMachnes - F10
Toshiba - F12
Dell - F12
IBM/Lenovo - the blue Thinkvantage button
The only method for creating bootable USB stick which always works for me is to load ISO into UltraISO trial version, select Write Image file on Bootable tab, format first then Write.
