I'm currently using WD Caviar Black 500GB (WD5002AALX) and thinking to upgrade to 1TB coz i need more space + similar performance. I've been using Western Digital HDD's from some years. I saw this Seagate Barracude 7200.12 ST31000528AS 1TB and i'm interested in it due to it's Size + Price but i'm not sure about the performance and noise levels of this drive. My WD 500GB is pretty much quiet and my main concern is Gaming + OS on the same drive and i also like to keep just one drive in the system at a time and i do backup my data on the disc's so kindly give me suggestions on this drive and upgrade.
