Solved Watch yahoo video,freezes,bsod,( Read pls its too long)

I remembered downloading and installing the dotnet4 or whatever it is from microsoft website..my pc (its windows 7 predator desktop)
Maximum PC | Acer Gives Predator Desktop a Makeover, Inside and Out I watched a random yahoo video and then the video stops(freezes) followed by a bsod (it was the most vital information but i was a retard and did not take a picture...i saw it had something to do with a program so I THINK the dotnet4 was the cause of this problem.) Because a sudden change of a program could lead to windows to crash(What i was thinking when i saw AND READ the bsod) So i had to "force shut down the pc" by pressing the..switch on button. Then when it boots up the desktop made a WEIRD noise for example a handphone vibrating on a table(wooden or coffee table) but it was the same volume as what i said earlier about the handphone but just a bit louder.(85% same as korean shows when the handphone vibrates on the table) The pc COULD NOT BOOT AT ALL OMG when i press start windows normally and its just black(but i see the starting windows?) Then switched if off again then rebooted with the same WEIRD sound then it ask to do startup repair(recommended) but it takes too long. My thoughts are 50% the dotnet4 cause the crash and did not cause the crash.

We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible. Please attach the DMP files to your next post not to post one.

If you are overclocking STOP



You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:

* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.

Good god...it takes a long time to boot with safe mode...all i see is loading windows files and please wait..... And tell me how to disable this overclock if its too...dangerous?

Edit: Didn't work...safe mode suddenly said windows is loading files and all of a sudden it goes to startup repair saying windows cannot startup properly or what knot...now im trying last known good configuration but doesn't work too it shows Starting windows and c Microsoft corporation but its like stuck there with no animation whatsoever.

Edit 2: All safe mode..last known good configuration...use the memory diagnostic tool...all of it did not work and when i press repair your computer(the first option available after i spam f8) it loads...i click next and then blank.....i could see the mouse cursor and screen theme? but nothing loads.

Edit 3: dotnetfx4 could not have caused this error because wow just this thing could crash the whole pc and making me not able to boot up AT ALL?

If you cant boot from safe or normal, can you boot from the win 7 dvd?

startup repair has been running for 9 hours.....STILL RUNNING and windows 7 dvd? u mean the cd? it was suppose to be included but my sis says she cant remember if they have given us the cd or not.....

Repair is taking way too long. By win 7 dvd I mean the one from MS. You seem not to have one, right?

Downloading windows 7 home premium right now...3gb wtf?

Once downloaded i have to burn the iso onto a cd with daemon tools right?

MS=Microsoft, as in Windows 7

Win 7 64 bit is ~ 3.4 Gigs compressed.

You do have to burn it with something. Daemon is a known cause of BSOD's

Please remove any CD visualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%.

They use a driver, found in your dmp, called sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs.

when you're done you can use this Freeware:

MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD-ROM (MagicDisc) in its place

Looks like i have to get rid of sptd and daemon tools..
but since i cannot go into safe mode i have to boot from win7dvd and "restore" right? after that then i'll use sptd uninstaller.

Edit:booted the cd up and press repair your computer after setting the settings....now there is this system recovery options and it says searching for windows installations.....it takes too long too....don't know why..

May be due to memory corruption or hard disk problems.

1. Shut down and turn off the computer.
2. Unplug the computer from the wall or surge protector (then remove the battery if it is a laptop).
3. "Remove the computer from any port replicator or docking station, disconnect
   cables to printers or devices such as external monitors, USB memory sticks or SD cards, headset or external speakers, mouse or auxiliary keyboard, turn off WIFI and Bluetooth wireless devices." (Use Hard Reset to Resolve Hardware and Software Issues HP Pavilion dv5000 Notebook PC series - HP Customer Care (United States - English))
4. Hold down the power button for 30 seconds. This closes the circuit and ensures all
   power from components is drained to clear the software connections between the BIOS
   and hardware and clear any corruption in the temporary memory.
5. (If it is a laptop, plug the battery back into the laptop and then) Plug the computer back into the wall. Do not reconnect any unnecessary peripherals; monitor, keyboard,
   and mouse should suffice and be the only peripherals reconnected.
6. Turn it on to reinitialize the software connections between the BIOS and hardware

See if the recovery environment loads faster. If you have an HDD, I would also suggest that you
