Watching HD stuff

Hey there,
Is there any quality difference in picture and sound in HD movie when watching on players like PowerDVD which support GPU acceleration? I watch HD movies on Windows Media Player or Jet Audio.

I have used PowerDVD and the parts I like most about it are the ability for smoother motion [mimic a 120hz refresh rate] and the upscaling settings it has. It really does look a lot different taking a stardard DVD or even HD content and playing it back on PowerDVD vs. WMP.

Since you're playing HD content, the upscaling won't matter as much but the smoother motion will kick your ass.
