WD MY BOOK Premium Edition 1TB External
Above is configured for Raid 0 or stripping and is a 1 TB as opposed to two 500 GB. External works fine on Win 7 but the Raid software that allows you to configure does not work.

Just found out WD has done away with the button manager program and has a new manager program. You also have to upgrade the firmware in the drive. I could not get it to upgrade in Win 7 so I booted into Win xp and did the firmware upgrade. I was then able to install the manager software in both Win xp and Win 7. So now everything works. All updates downloaded from WD.
