So my problem is that my computer for some reason causes the picture on my monitor (LG Flatron W2453V) to be interrupted and goes black for 2-3 seconds then it comes back again. This is a very sporadic instance, sometimes it will do it 3 times in a row or not for 3 hours sometimes it will do it constantly. It also doesn't matter what I am doing It will do it when my computer is simply viewing the desktop with nothing running. I have checked for viruses with AVG Antivirus, made sure absolutely everything was up to date ... yes my video card drivers are up to date. Adjusted the screen refresh rate (no noticeable difference) and it is a performance computer so all of my hibernation and monitor sleep settings are set to never. The weird thing is that my computer is plugged into 2-3 monitors at all times and it is only my main one, the LG, that has this problem. When it does it's screen refresh thingy my other monitors stay on and working properly, I am very confused any suggestions or comments will be helpful thanks! If you wish to see what my problem is go to the following link but skip to 2:15 i posted in the comments the time so click on that. Windows 7 Monitor Issue Please Help!! - YouTube

Your monitor is connected via HDMI correct

if so this could be caused by not having the cable plugged in all the way take both ends out and plug them back in firmly
