Hi Gang,
I'm back for some input/advice. I decided to check out Win 8 for myself, after reading such mixed reviews here and on other forums. I downloaded, and burned a copy of Release preview iso. I was going to install on VMplayer, so I cranked up the VM and preceded to install it. All seemed to be going well, but I zigged when I should have zagged at some point
, because when all was said and done I had overwritten my Win 7 install
. Instead of being install on the VM it was installed on my SSD.
I'm now wondering if this can be reversed from a restore point, or some other method? I will clean install Win 7 if that's my only option, and give the VM other shot. May just install on a new partition on my HHD.
Thanks for being here Win7 forums!
