I can tell only what it is here in Germany, some neighboring countries and back in my native Finland.Having got all that off my chest, I'm going to take my wife somewhere really expensive now - the local petrol station will do for a start!!
The above is "a good one", but it also brings me to a question. I remember in the 1960's, European gas was about double of US gas. I hope that is still not the case with our $3.25 /gallon price. What does European petrol go for these days?
(Country, regular, super, diesel. Prices in Euro per liter, one liter is about 0.265 US gallon.)
Germany, 1.56, 1.63, 1.51
Switzerland, 1.32, 1.34, 1.36
The Czech Republic, 1.28, 1.42, 1.30
Finland, 1.33, 1.50, 1.49
Multiply price per liter with 3.785 to get a price per US gallon.
Diesel, that has always been cheaper than gasoline is now costing even more than regular in most of the European countries.
