From what I have Googled, the pre-invasion Iraqi production of oil was ~2.5 million barrels per day. It is now at ~2.6 million barrels per day, and is now expected to rise perhaps another 13%, causing Saudi Arabia to lower their prices.

Since Iraqi production is now slightly more than before the war, which was reportedly the reason for the price increases at the pump, it makes me wonder if our pump prices will ever go down?

That's right Gary, I guess we can count in Iowa at least to 250 I live in western Iowa and we have three casinos in town and I know they know how to count.

I don't know any longer. Have lived in many countries. That's why i know, e.g., that
Québec corn is the best. Just ask anyone in Québec.

If only. They're only too keen on raising them, and when they do lower them it's only for a very short period of time and usually only to the level before they last raised them. :sarc:

I remember when it was £1 per gallon (I had a mini 28 years ago, with a 4½ gallon tank, and it cost just short of £5 to fill it up). Now it is £6 per gallon (£1.32 per litre), a whopping 600% increase.
