What ATI Driver are you running Battlefield 3 Successful with?

hey guys, some people are getting success on running battlefield 3 with downgraded drivers, example a 11.7 driver with 11.9 cap 4, can anybody tell me what driver your using to prevent microstutter on crossfire mode? because that my main problem im currently having with my dual ATI radeon 5970s, it would run like at 70-80 FPS but the microstutter is overwhelming.

out of interest why do you want 70-80fps? anything over 30fps is fine and playable.

I get an average of 31-40fps with everything maxed out at 1080p and full AA using an 2gb 6950. no issues at all.

Im not wanting 70-80FPS, its whats it is, I was saying that when i play the game, i get 70-80FPS but it microstutter alot, 11.9? 11.9 driver or 11.9 cap 4?

You don't list what CPU you have but if it is an Intel that supports hyper threading, disable HT in the bios and try the game again.

yeah i have a Intel i7 920 processor, ive been getting alot of BSOD and my game has been crashing within the first few seconds.

What does the BSOD say the problem is? Are you overclocked? Does it say it is the video driver?
