What Book are you reading?

I see this thread here and there on other forums so I thought I'd start one here as I didn't see one.

As the title says, what book are you reading?

Currently I just started Die Trying by Lee Child. It's one of many in his Jack Reacher series.

A book is something that spreads knowledge WITHOUT:

1) requiring activation after purchase

2) throwing bsods

3) having the reader labelled "manic-obsessive" by the family.

Ahhh....Its Point 2) that explains Jonathan's ignorance.

The one I am on now is "Stars My Destination" by Alfred Bester. I've read it before about ten years ago. Very good Sci-Fi based on Count de Monte Cristo plot and teleportation.

You'll find the Sams book pretty good. They aren't heavy-duty but are a good 50,000 view of how to do something.

I've returned to an old favourite-Flowers For Algernon by Daniel Keyes. First read it 30+ years ago and am finding it quite disturbing this time round. I was probably too young then to see the implications.

yeah Gully Foyle is the main character and he is hunting down the Vorga ship.

I just read "A Brave New World" a few months ago. disturbing book when you really think about some of the issues. I read "Flowers for Algernon" in high-school, so I dont remember it. I will probably get to it next. I like old sci-fi.
