my 955BE is idle at 26c with an H70 cooler. i think youre fine, dont worry. 35-39 is normal for a quad AMD from what ive seen.

I'm not real sure how accurate that is anyway. Look at your +12V reading. If that was true, your fans wouldn't come on.

Those are very good scores. You can't complain about those scores.

For your SSD turn off hibernate. In an elevared command prompt enter powercfg -h off then press enter.That will help your drive and save you 8GB of space on the SSD.
Also check trim with diskpart and check alignment and make sure defrag is off.

What major benefit do you get? Why would you turn it off?

Spend more of a motherboard. I like the Asus Crosshair 5. I have used it in a build already and have used the Asus Crosshair 3, Asus Crosshair 4, and now the Asus Crosshair 5. With a good MB you can overclock any CPU to much higher frequence then a cheap MB. Therefore spend less on a higher frequence CPU and spend more on the MB.

You get just a little more Disc space back and when you are useing a 80gb SSD
you want to make it as light as possible

I have done this many times im not worried nothing super important goes on the main drive always the portable my book

I have 2 machines where I run 80GB SSD's as boot devices. I just set system protection to use 2%. On my box, that's only using 1.2GB of space. My 80GB drive is not even 1/2 full...so 1.2GB is no big deal.

I just never recommend turning off this feature..because if you even use it 1 time, its worth it.

What do you mean 395? Every piece of hardware uses ram. It's all there just some held in reserve.
