What do you think of Bitdefender Internet securty 2010

I prefer KIS 2010 more, the only reason I'm using BDIS 2010 right now is cause it supports x64.

I'm also having problems with it's firewall, it's limiting my torrent connections A LOT, utorrent is on the whitelist but the firewall still blocks a lot of the connections, I contacted the BD support and they gave me a solution (making my Local Area Connection "Trusted Local") but it didn't work, so I tried disabling the stealth mode and so far it's really hectic, the speed goes up and down every few soconds, if it stayed like that for the rest of the day I will go back to KIS 2010 even if it doesn't support x64 cause at least it didn't cause me such troubles.

I was a big fan of BD but it gave me a lot of grief with my software development system.
I switched to Avira and all is well.

man, go to the BitDefender forums, the guys there are pretty helpful on the forums. I wouldn't exchange BitDefender for KIS- KIS is not so good at detection.

well hi there i had kaspersky it really was the worst thing i ever bought my pc allmost ground to a halt avg free did the same after a few months, as it updates and you need to remove it completely and reinstall avast isnt that bad try Eset smart security 4 brilliant works great with 7 x64 try it out for free on trial its without a doubt the best one out there

I heard Eset doesn't have such a good detection rate:sarc:

well ive tried them all avg avast kaspersky macafee norton and all these ive had wicked viruses needing spending lots of money and having to resort to a fresh install of windows with Eset ive had no problems at all ive spent lots of money because of inferior security eset is the best ive used by a mile in fact 20 miles where did you hear eset wasnt good at detection trust me it is an amazing product

Nonsense! You know what? Totally know nothing in Kaspersky!

I used it for a couple of weeks after I installed Win7 x64 but It was giving me an error once a day and each time it asks me to restart the program, in the error it gave me no clue as to what is the problem, not even a number or anything..

So I just removed it and went back to the good old KIS 2010, yeah I know it doesn't support x64 yet but I'm comfortable with it..
