With your current layout you'll be stuck with the built in intel graphics, which are pretty horrible for anything beyond video playback. (the list of games you can play will be very short and they won't look all that great either)

Is this a concern for you?
Also the side fan is kind of overkill unless you have a dedicated graphics card.

If the graphics aren't a huge concern you should be all set.

While many of my friends love them I've personally had some real nightmares dealing with gigabyte gear. I generally suggest ASROCK or MSI these days. ASROCK is mostly premium boards though msi may have more selection for you.

The I3-3240 isn't listed as compatible:

GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY Socket 1155 - Intel H61 - GA-H61M-D2H-USB3 (rev. 1.0)

However, some other Ivy Bridge CPUs are listed. Perhaps you should double check before proceeding.

I don't like the case personally.

It is apparently designed to lay down on a desk like a book, only 5.8 inches high. If you stood it up in normal fashion, the drive bays would be vertical.

Too many holes and vents.

Some power supplies and graphics cards won't fit.

I'd want a more traditional design and not worry about those issues.
