What does build 7600 have that 7057 doesn't?

Hey guys, I currently have Windows 7 Ultimate (RC Build 7057), and was thinking of replacing it with 7600. I don't have the option to back up my files, and was just wondering.. is the jump from 7057 to 7600 worth the loss of data? What features does 7600 have that 7057 does not? Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks

I am surprised 7057 is still running, I thought that had an expired date.

7600 is what will be released to the General Public on Oct 22nd.

Honestly, I haven't used 7057 in so long that I can't remember if it was missing any features that 7600 has. However, I would definitely recommend installing 7600, as it is the gold code. Data can always be backed up, and programs can be reinstalled.

7600 is final, which means that any bugs in 7057 would be fixed. Clean install is the best way to go.

Clean install doesn't mean you have to format the drive. You can install over an existing Windows installation. The old installation will be moved to C:\Windows.old

Well one thing 7600 has that any RC build does not have is no built in self termination date. So you are going to have to move on to something different from the RC build sooner or later whether you want to or not. March 2010 really isn't that far away.

apart from the "Self destruct" date and the fact that 7057 wasn't an officially released public build (probably a Torrent download) the RTM has had a lot of drivers fixed and the best feature so far is a recent update that has improved CONSIDERABLY the compatability with older applications.

Whilst I still can't get rid of Windows XP yet completely I only now need to run it as a VM rather than having to dual boot.

Remember that unless you received it internally from MS testing programs your version of 7057 will surely belong to THIS class of Windows.

Funny. I used to have the .ISO for build 7100, but like I said in one of my previous posts, I accidentally deleted it with a certain program and couldn't get it back. Therefore, I had no other choice but to use build 7057. It's still legit, and it has an expiry date, so technically it's not pirated. Anyway, thanks for the advice guys, I think I'll just dish out the cash for retail when the time comes.
