You can change the view to several different choices. I'm sure you can find one that you can get used to.Its still annoying though I find, I preferred the old classic layout.
An awful lot of the complaints in this thread are simply peoples initial reaction to something new and different. Many people are resistant to change. It was the same when XP first came on the scene. I bet if many of you just give it a few weeks more of using 7, you will adapt and find that many of the things you initially didn't like actually represent improvements. It just takes some getting used to. Give it a chance and come back in a month and update your opinions. I bet if people would do this, a significant number of people will eventually acknowledge that they have gotten used to whatever it is they are complaining about now and have changed their initial opinion.
