Fantastic game. Best multiplayer shooter/destruction imho to this day.

I forgot how much I really enjoyed this game. It is a better experience now that I have a better rig than I did then

And recommended for the new COD coming out the first of the month? Pre-purchase Call of Duty®: Advanced Warfare on Steam

I hope you are talking about the Campaign because I am un dusting my copy when I get home.

More so when all we are getting (or the majority of the titles we get) are Console Ports... I don't understand :shock:

Take Watch Dogs as a prime example recommending an i7. My rig runs it with no problem at all. I just see it as most of the major developers these days are partnered with hardware company or another and are just trying to scaremonger people into buying new hardware.

Or maybe I'm just being super cynical.

I recall before BF3 was released and the recommended specs. Many people were wondering whether they would be capable of playing it and were frantically upgrading their systems for it. When it was released, most systems well below the recommended specs were playing it just fine. Sometimes I think the hardware vendors are the ones who make the specs up. If you look at the recommended specs of the new AC game, they would be cutting out 80% or more of their potential customers if those were, in fact, the specs that were needed to run the game. If we are to believe them, we should be buying a 5960X and 2 980's in preparation for next year's games releases.

The minumum specs for the new AC is even worse than was on GTA IV (But atleast GTA IV runs good on quad-cores even with crappy GPU since the game is CPU intensive)

That's what i am saying last year i had a HD7970 and it was the top Dog now it's like comparing a HD7970 to a HD5770 crazy how the tides change with Video graphics GTX680 should still be up there with the big boys

I've got a 4 games going ATM.

Alien Isolation. Really like it! They only down side are they choppy cutscenes. They need to fix this. But the game itself runs very good.
Evil Within - haven't got into this too much so no opinion yet
Murdered Soul Suspect - I actually like this one so far, playing it the most right now,.
Diablo 3 - Play this with my son and his girlfriend. Its a blast!

I need to start Murdered: Soul Suspect. I've had it a while now but haven't got round to starting it. I've got too many unfinished games to complete first, and about another 140 to even start.

I'm loving it!
Playing on hard since that what the devs recommend, and its nerve racking. Lots of sneaking and hiding, holding your breath in lockers etc.

I spent a good 20 minutes in one particular locker trying unlock a door via a computer terminal and save my game. The computer and save location was on the other side of the room but the darn thing kept creeping around in that room LOL. At one point holding my breath and sliding back, hoping it wouldn't notice me since I hadnt saved in a good while, while its had its face right in the air vents of the locker staring at me.
So yea, nerve racking at times.

The alien is pretty unpredictable too, or seems to be.
I mean, the game will obviously have it in a certain area, but the vents it takes where it appears, how long it hangs around etc its totally random. It just does what it wants. AND, it has excellent hearing, so keep that in mind

At any count, I wasn't sure what I thought of the game at first but it grew on me.

One complaint, choppy cutscenes they really need to fix. At least on PS4. Beyond that runs and looks good.

If you like survival horror, stealth .... its a great game. Just ply in a dark room with surround sound or headphones for best experience IMHO. The sound is amazing in this game. You can hear the alien in the vents above you ro below you etc. its creepy at times.
