What Games Are You Playing?

Just purchased Rift yesterday. Have been playing for several hours now

my mate has been raving on about this the past few weeks, perhaps it might be worth looking into.

Downloading both just cause2 and mafia2 on steam now. Not sure I will like either. Not really into 3rd view but some are cool dead space etc. The grapple hook thing in jc2 looks unrealistic but same time is different might be cool tho. Videos etc it is pretty.

I read mafia2 was a let down- slow, cars drive glitchy and it is more cutscene than game play maybe. The world is pretty tho I like that point in time. I might have been a mobster too well maybe not I am not italian- could have been made maybe.. Well maybe not being cherokee irish german. Well mobster and mafia are not the same I guess ? I think mobster is slang for criminal etc mafia is a group or clan per say. So ya maybe I could have been a mobster- I surely would have been a ww2 hero if I did not die in the war or something- I wish I could go fight now. To old etc.. The last of the great ones are dying off fast. The old fella next door to me is a ww2 hero..

Think I read both games might be a lil glitchy tho- they are free so it will not hurt to much I guess- Ha ha hope so any way..

Got some new games tho. My one bud has a lil pc shop, got some vid cards for some rigs sent me his extra copies or codes rather- sweet. More to play and record. I will post some screens and such first chance I get..

I wasnt going to after the Beta but ... What can I say. Despite some flaws Im enjoying it.

I just flipped back like 22 pages did not see any prob threads for either jc2 or mafia2, maybe I will be ok. Hope so any way..

I have both and they run fine. I played Mafia 2 through twice and loved it (I am considering getting Joe's Adventures but unsure as the reviews are just "ok").
JC2 - I am about 25% completed and I just cannot bring myself to play any more. Most people I have talked to enjoyed this game but I guess it just isn't for me.

I played jc2 for about 2 hours- needed a nap. Its cool tho. I have to get use to 3rd view and movement what ever, it is just odd and retarded to me. Some times I have to make 50 movements to go where I want or try to turn can not turn in crouch If I remember right, surely can not fire from crouch. It is just more hard to play. I prefer 1st view. Maybe if my player was a girl I would enjoy looking at her butt all game other than that they can keep that crap.

But I like the game so far looks and runs nice. The grapple is kind of cool and can get up high etc. I might have to change a few key binds tho. Oh ya its 4 freaken settings for the mouse axis is way too stupid. I am afraid to touch them- I might have to read a book to figure them out or spend hours moving 1 of 4 or all sliders around. Just trying to play 3rd view and the stupid mouse stuff should be a game in its self- no world guns nothing. The whole game just messing with 4 mouse sliders and just trying to walk around normal in 3rd view.. Oh ya add bright and contrast settings what ever to the game I was just talking about- that is retarded too- maybe they never made games before or something..

I do not understand bright contrast area - has a slider for one - the other says make it so you can just see both boxes or something- I see no adjustments for it- Maybe I need to google it or something- I have the pfd manual, maybe I missed that part I just flipped through it and printed out the movement parts and read on some basics. That 1 thing I light/barely see just cause on 1 side at the bottom I guess It is telling me I should have the same beside it- I do not know what to do- I bumped up gamma 2 lil tics- Looks good enough I guess. Maybe I am supposed to make adjustments to my monitor if that is the case I will leave as is- I/ or know one else should have to touch his monitor for such things.. Again maybe they never made games before or should stay with pong or mac games or something. Consoles and game pads something.

Least it is not suck like mass effect bugged or any place near as slow. I think I will like it. Do not think I will much like mafia2 tho. I will give it a try. The jc world looks massive and seems will be lots to do- so I should like it ok and get use to playing moving in 3rd view. 3rd view to me is so pong like, it was my only real complaint with dead space..

Seems to make some nice videos- So that will make me happy- can add to my numbers on youtube..

Blightweald in EU. Its high-populated so there is usually a queue. Probably wouldn't play there if it wasn't for the fact that I joined a guild there beforehand.

I am finishing Black Ops on Veteran, I always start with Normal difficulty and then go to the hardest. Its a habit I have managed to pick up.

I plan on getting Bad Company 3 when it comes out for the PS3.

JC2 does get awkward like ground vehicles have absolutely no handling, but just running around blowing stuff up is pretty fun.

Mafia 2 was alright. The main game had it's moments, but felt rushed and a lot was taken out before release. I wouldn't recommend Jimmy's Vendetta, but Joe's Adventure's has some pretty good missions. The main missions are good that pop up after every few side missions. The only annoying thing is that you're timed against every mission. Hence I got a trainer to disable it, which made it a bit more enjoyable.

I thought it would be GOW in 1st person , but its so much more , a mix between Bioshock , Borderlands & Fuels of War .

I would recommend it EXCELLENT Game!

Graphics - awesome.
Story - lacking, but it's a FPS after all.
Dialogues - from slightly comical to childish, it seems they tried too hard.
Gameplay - fastpaced with fun guns and "executions".

Overall a nice game but nowhere near like the bombshell it was advertised. It is a good rental nevertheless!

Well I don't "rent" games so I'll have to catch it another time. Anyway I have Dragon Age 2 on it's way so that'll take up my gaming time for now.

The more I play just cause2 the more I get use to it the more I like it. It is a lovely game does not seem short either. Ya cars etc are not easy to drive. I do ok with choppers, planes are hell tho I mainly fly them upside down or something. After you do the first few missions it opens up- or mostly anyway.

I tried 1 of the races it was using a prop plane, I crashed and burn about 5x and gave up and went and got a chopper after I noticed it said I could use anything that flies. Has over 100 vehicles in the games. The water and swimming is awesome.

The more I use the grapple the more I get use to it it can be fun. I love to use it and get air born and pop my chute- base or sky diving is cool too. Think I will be playing this 1 for a long time. I can not find anything that says or shows open missions, other than icons on the pda screen. Guess that is all there is? I am helping the roaches take the ship yard now, they stopped said snipers, but I have been all over everything killed all bots I can find, I can find no snipers or anything else, maybe it is bugged. So I stopped playing for a bit. I do not care to read a walk through, but if I can not figure it out my next time in guess I will have too. I figured out how to disarm the breach charges etc. Got a few upgrades.

I like being up high or in a chopper then I can see stash boxes blinking laying around etc. The military choppers are awesome. Figured out from pda to blow up everything in areas I capture to get 100% etc. It will take me a few times playing to really learn it maybe. Might not ever find all the goodies tho.

To look at it other than being 3rd view it reminds me of far cry the island etc. It is a cool game I am happy with it.. I like how rico looks wet after swimming or it rains, most games do not do that, codwaw did or kind of. To glisten when wet looks more natural.. A lot of stuff is destructible- trees what ever- its a cool game..

Lotham is the same way. Our evening mostly. But, it does seem to be getting better now.

Yep, they got the most epic backlash from the gaming community. Good thing they came back to their senses. Looking forward to play it! Loved AC2.

Playing Bad Company 2. Came to conclusion that BF series are my style of MP FPS. COD games are strongly affected by consolitis (which is a nasty disease).

Finished Dragon Age 2 demo. Loved it.

And still trying to login to play Crysis 2 demo...
