Playing Bad Company 2.
Me too :geek: I finished the single player campaign months ago, and just tried the MP the other day. I love it. Just killing time with that and Torchlight, waiting for Assassin's Creed Brotherhood.

SP in BC2 was meh. Nothing special. But not bad either. I consider it as basic training for multiplayer. And multiplayer is great. Finally (i was playing Battlefield 2 before it) the stupid jets are gone. Yay! Now i'm leveling up engi to get a CG :D

Agree with you on the SP...it was pretty meh :sleepy: The only trouble I had was near the end, on my way to the plane. A gunner parked his Humvee right behind a street pole, and would not stop firing. I couldn't hit him with a rifle or any of my other guns. My squad wouldn't fall back, and (surprise) couldn't kill him. Took me about 5 grenades to get one underneath the truck and destroy it. Other than that, it was a nice walk through the jungle..

I played BF2 too, and I didn't care too much for the jets either..I was glad to see them gone. Helis are enough to deal with. I don't need a fighter jet cruising by my head at the speed of sound, too.. :p
I also hear Engineers can't "hover fix" anymore, and that they actually have to land?

Much fun is chasing after moving tank with your repair tool in hand. Under sniper fire :D

@Sik00
Those jets were so annoying. Practically untouchable. Except for other jets.

Well my copy of Dragon Age 2 will be here tomorrow. Looking forward to it.... for better or worse.

Anyway for those with high end cards and DX11 you can download the hi-res files for the game here - Choose Language | BioWare Social Network

This will add the option to enable higher detail replacements for most textures in game. A big difference will be noticed on level art especially.

Requirements:
Using high-resolution textures requires a graphics card with at least 1024MB video memory.

Most of the benefits from the Hi-resolution textures will only be seen if you are able to run the game in DirectX 11.

To manually download your new content on the PC:
  • Download the installer from the link below and run it.
  • Run Dragon Age II.
  • Open the Options menu.
  • Select Video options.
  • Check the "Hi-resolution textures" checkbox.
Note: In order to enable the "Very High" setting you will need a video card that supports DX11 and the latest drivers.

As someone said.... can't wait!

I just started playing Minecraft on Saturday. Interesting game, worth the money.

This is a really good one, and worth the money? very much so. Amazing effort by the solo developer for so long, though the graphics might be, let say less then what we would expect in this day and age, it adds a certain style to it you cant really find anywhere else.

I have finally found a game where I can go all-out-PSYCHO just like Postal 2, and that's, of course: BULLETSTORM!!!

The game is just... just... just... EPIC! FRIGGING! A-W-E-S-O-M-E!
Like any game it has its own glitches and bugs, and some cinematics look really bad, but that may be because the requirements are a bit too high for my rig. Nevertheless, I could crank everything up to High with an 1080p resolution (without Antialias) and play it just fine, which is still impressive considering that the CPU requirement is a Quad Core while I only have an Intel Dual Core E7500...

Dragon Age 2

Gonna buy Dragon Age II :D and will play it... Also will install StarCraft II today ;)

I'm playing Dragon Age 2 now. It's too early to call it but one thing I will say is the graphics look a lot better (than the demo) with the texture pack. It is however recommended that you have a DX11 card to fully enjoy those textures.

You can get the texture pack here - Choose Language | BioWare Social Network. It's a little over a gig.

Oh, btw.... you can import your character from Dragon Age Origins. Didn't know that till after I chose my character and got ready for game play, you're then presented with a few options on how you want to proceed in DA2 and one of the options is to import your character from DA:O. Once you do that you're told that the decisions you made in DA:O will have an impact in DA 2. You still start out from level 1 though.

Anyway it's too early to know what's going on as I've barely begun to get into the game, though I did rather quickly get to a level 4 rogue. The game looks promising though.

That's it for now

Yeah the game is looking and playing pretty good thus far with the texture pack though I do have to occaisonal tearing though. I'll have to check that v-sync is working. I have my in-game video settings maxed.

BTW I was able to get my character in DA2 remarkably close to the way he looked in DA:O, even down to the tatoo :D

WOW man that sound's promising... thumbs up for the Bioware :D also i have'nt played The Witcher EE (DC) yet :( too bad... i was thinking to upgrade to a DX11 card but due to my current CPU ... it'll just bottleneck everything that is over a GTS 450  i need at least a Quad Core :(
