What happens if I don't have genuine windows 7?

I'm getting a used laptop from my uncle, but it doesn't have genuine windows 7. What are the problems that could be caused by this?

It could be loaded with malware and keyloggers etc

Eventually Microsoft will notice it's a stolen copy of their software and stop it functioning fully

You will unable to get any help here as we do not support pirated software

It is not pirated software as you can download windows 7 directly from the microsoft website, but you just need to activate it.

If the Operating system is not genuine and / or not activated, then it is by definition an Illegal or pirate copy. and you will not receive any more support here
