My processor doesn't seem to have Intel VT support. I checked it by going to BIOS and I didn't see Virtulisation option there. It confirms that my processor doesn't support Intel VT right?

another question - what will I lose if I don't have VT in my laptop?

My ultimate aim is to run Win Server 2008 R2 x64 in my laptop along with existing Win 7 Home Premium x64. How can I do that? Can somebody please help me in this regard?

Thanks.

Thanks for your reply. I checked that, my processor doesn't support.

My questions is - is it a big problem now or in near future if I don't have VT support? Is my laptop outdated?

Thanks again.

PC is brand new...just purchased...hardware and other configuration is latest...I am just worried about this virtulisation. My ulitimate aim is to run Win Server 2008 R2 x64 in my laptop along with existing Win 7 Home Premium x64.

How will I do it since I am not able to create new partitions and Win Server 2008 R2 x64 is not installing on VHD. Please help.

Thanks.
