What is a good gaming headset?

Hey, I am in need of a new headset since my last one broke (loose wires). I want a good gaming headset with a good microphone attached, I need the mic for competitive gaming and videos on the Youtubes. Thank you!

I bought this and have been using it to co-op with one partner for a couple games.
The sound is good to me, and he says I sound good.
Have about a hundred hours on it. Cost is $14.96. Find another 10 bucks to spend to get free shipping.

I use the Logitech G35 and have been quite happy with it.

I use the SteelSeries Siberia V2, comes with a retrackable mic and 2m extension cord. ( cord are 1m without extension )
Price however, is $90, which is standard for gaming equipment.
