What is Error 1 in System Restore?

I have been trying to do system restore after my laptop crashed at work today. Unfortunately, system restore is the only option after I tried to reboot after the screen went blank and froze. Can anyone help and tell me how to resolve this error message in system restore? I have HP Folio Win 7 64bit.
