Hello, As the title says my computer is stuck on the system recovery options. I was having issues the other day with my computer it kept crashing, programs not fully loading and all around slowness. it was fine a few days before so i figured i must of downloaded a virus while looking for a zuma game for my 4 year old to play.

I ran my scanners and found some things removed them but the problem remained. so i decided to to a system restore. I looked and i had an atuo save restore point from 2 weeks ago. It ran when it was done it restarted and loaded up to the system recovery options menu so i hit the restart button and again.

I have tried to solve this by looking here tried this http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/139576-startup-repair-infinite-loop-recovery.html several tims and nothing.

I'm pretty sure i have windows 7 home premium might be the basic cant really remember. My build is Build a Cheap 400 Dollar Gaming Computer (2012) only difference being the storage i used one i had from my previous computer as wll as the cd drive. i also dont have a windows 7 disk.

Is there anything i can do?

Hello and welcome Joe mate is the machine running at all? If so then go to Start > Control Panel > System and you will get a screen like in my pic it will tell you what version of Windows you are using.
Now something else you could do is run these in safe mode. To do that power off the machine and power up while tapping F8 then just do what is in the tutorial instructions
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/433-disk-check.html < if necessary include the /f and /r in the command line as per Option2
if these do not make any difference then power up normally and run these for starters

http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free/
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/
ADW download from bleeping computer delete any rubbish found with the malware scans
(with ADW if you are running Kaspersky it will throw it up as malware just override Kaspersky by ignoring it or disabling it for the duration of the scan)
