Does anyone know what the icon highlighted in the screen print below is ?
It gets displayed when typing in the password on the Gmail login page.
Someone called me about it and they don't remember seeing it before.
They wonder if it might be some type of malware.
I tested this on my PC and it doesn't get displayed using PaleMoon browser.
It does get displayed in IE 11 for me.

Hauppauge HD-PVR, Avermedia PCIe TV Tuner, Hauppauge PCI TV Tuner.
Left mouseclick on it and keep the mousbutton down. Now you see what you type (or have typed).
It's a IE11 feature for password fields in html forms. If you move to another form field.... the functionality is gone!

Yep that little feature caused allot of fuss with some people thinking it was some sort of security risk ?
But most security risks are password auto fills not a innocent eye icon
