Hello -
Fortunately I have no update issues - at least at the moment.
I have misplaced a file in which I had good info on dealing with failing updates in Win 7. I found most of the info in other diagnostic files but cannot find the name of the file that tracks the updates.
I had previously read that if this file were deleted and the system rebooted, the OS would just recreate the file. The suggestion was to do that, and in my case it cured the problem.
So, can some good soul tell me what that filename is and the path to it? It was about a year ago when I last did that and I just can't remember the name and where it is.
Thx
Fred
