What PC Games do you have?

I'm not much of a gammer...but I DO enjoy my racing sims/games.

These days they include
NFS shift
Grid
Live for Speed
GTR(x)..not sure havent played it for a while.

With these games I, of course, use a G25 wheel.
My 'normal' monitor is a 28' ...but on occasion I'll hook up the 32' samsung TV.

Funny...I really have no clue why I enjoy them so much...

I would recommend to everyone to checkout Instantaction.com it's a great site with web-browser applications..i mean games and social networking best game they have is Fallen Empire:legions(spiritual succesor of Tribes) it's made using the garagegames Torque Engine right now they are still updating the site and games..and when they'll release it they will also have the entie Tribes/Starsiege series playable in almost any web-browser..Hoooooray

i bought arma 2 in the sale recently, and it's not a cod style shooter at all. it's much less arcade-y and aims at realism, a bit like a serious grown-up version of bf2, with a steep learning curve. you've got to put in a few hours of hard work going through the tutorials before you get to the fun.

My problems with ARMA2 wasn't the gameplay itself ( I was a big fan of the original Flashpoint series ) I like the realism aspect.

My problem was the woeful performance and Campaign breaking bugs (inconsistent triggers that failed to trigger sequences, squad commands being ignored etc) that finally caused me to turn my back on it.

I see it's now at v1.07 - the last time I played I was using one of the v1.04 beta patches. I'm guessing lot of the issues may have been addressed.

I've also upgraded since then, so it may be worth another look.

OFPDR was actually quite good. Buggy at first but resolved with some patches.

Again, it was probably the bugs that put me off plus I was also 'playing' (or attempting to ) Arma2 at the same time and it felt too 'arcadey' by comparison. Tbh, I didn't really give OF DR a real chance.

ArmA2 suffers a lot from poor controls IMO.

I enjoyed the original OFP but it's graphics are unacceptable to today's standards.

Unfortunately since Arma2 was largely based on the original OFP engine that wasn't well optimised to begin with... it shows.
