What programs are out there to allow TV watching?

So, I'm looking a good program that doesn't require a TV Tuner, none I think lol. But just asking anyone know any free programs that I can use to watch TV on my computer?

Hulu, is a good program/website. I use it and you can watch in HD also.

Is there anyway to get Hulu to show fullscreen on the second monitor? I click fullscreen and then go to open up something else and it exits fullscreen.

Not sure. I don't have dual monitor displays. :/ Try searching or support?

Though due to the nature of how it uses an overlay and the limits of overlays, I'm betting no.

Hi there.

Using the VPN proxy to get round National restrictions seems quite expensive -- once you start using Video at decent resolution 5GB is nothing -- once you start using decent amounts you might just as well get a "Pirate" satellite TV card and stick a Satellite Dish in your garden / roof.

I thought about that but at home (Iceland) I have some "special TV cards" for Hot Bird / Astra which gives me UK LIVE footie on Sat afternoons, some SETANTA and SKY Premium sport , and loads and loads of movies from Canal Plus etc etc.

These cards seem to last for ever - the current one I'm using is over 6 months old and still working- and only cost around 30 EUR (one off price) -- amazing what you can find in Amsterdam's flea market in the Waterlooplein on a Sun Morning.

I think - much as I like computers it's the wrong technology for the price point. If you've got to start paying 45 / 60 USD per month for the Proxy VPN bandwidth usage - which is what it would cost if you started to watch a lot of HD movies via computer then this business model is going to price itself out of the market.

It's this type of pricing that encourages "Torrent use" and "Albanian business men".
