I use a program (GoodSync) to synchronise my desktop and laptop computers with my allocation on my university's servers. Before it can run, I need to use a VPN connection. I'd like to make this happen automatically but I don't know what program to tell GoodSync to call. The target is: {BA126AD7-2166-11D1-B1D0-00805FC1270E} I don't seem to be able to control the formatting of this post.

Hello thx1139,

Since you are using a University network.

You should ask your school if it's OK to use the software in question.

It may be considered as attempting to circumvent their network security.

Hope this helps,
John

I don't understand. I'm allowed to use the VPN connection to access my files from any internet-connected computer. What difference does it make if I copy files back and forth manually or use a program designed for the purpose?
