What Would You Do With 48 Cores?

I'd run all my applications at once, just to see if I could.

Of course, I'd also need plenty of memory, too.

Hi all
Actually you would probably be disappointed -- as the number of cores increases so does the OS overhead required in managing them all -- you won't get ANYTHING like 48 X the power of 1 Core.

Cheers

not sure 48 cores is far enough in the future for the system requirements for GTA4
Maybe 48 cores cooled with liquid nitrogen and you might get 20fps.
