Solved What's The Best HDD Eraser?

Hi,

Anyone have any experience with HDD erasers? I tried to use DBAN but I tried several methods to get it to work on my laptop but it kept throwing up an error each time or plain wouldn't boot :(

So can anyone recommend any decent HDD erasing software?

Note: I'm not looking to smash the HDD ;)

Well normally the first thing I would recommend would be DBAN, it is one of the best bootable discs for exactly what you're trying to do. You might have a bad image (.iso) file, or perhaps the disc is not being burned in the proper manner. What are you using for iso recording?
