What's the fastest (officially supported) Windows 7 processor?

Supposing I'm wanting to have the best (officially supported) processor for windows 7, what is the fastest available from team blue & team red (intel & amd)?

The last Windows 7 supported processors were the sixth generation processors. This is the Intel Skylake i3/i5/i7-6xxx, and the AMD A-series Ax-8xxx APUs and the FX-870K CPU. See Windows Processor Requirements | Microsoft Docs for full list.

I do not know off-hand which is the "fastest". Can depend on what you intend to use it for, also multi-core processors are generally faster at multi-tasking than dual-core processors, even if they have lower max CPU clock speed. Another factor is that some of the processors have on-board graphics, which is adequate, but not necessarily the fastest graphics rendering.
