Just a small tribute to how well W7 has been behaving. Been trough some HD upgrades (cloning) and restores from images (due to my own 'experiments' and doings), but still on my original install (+ all updates), and works perfect, this is my used-daily 'net & office work' laptop. Great.

I just built this desktop a few months ago so it has a date of 6/01/2013 but I have a laptop with a Win 7 install date of 9/11/2011.

I have a Win 2003 server here with an install date of 10/26/2006, it's almost never powered down or rebooted.

  • 3 out of the 4 Calculator modes had broken displays

same here - was running with the Release Previews and BETA's for ages - way back when..
ordered the Win7 Ultimate installation disks direct from Microsoft as soon as they became available
they sent both the 32-Bit and 64-Bit disks, which I thought was very considerate of them
- current date is 6th Sept 2013 - when I reinstalled the complete setup on a new SSD :cool:

The original was from my computer manufacture win-7 upgrade disk a couple or so year earlier just before the public availability,
I only had Vista for a couple of months thank goodness ;)
