What's Your Screensaver?

I've been using the same "The Matrix" screensaver since, I think, Windows was born. This one:

It's pretty cool and definitely the best Matrix screensaver out there. I know. I use "The Red Pill" on my Macs and the ones that are on my Linux box are pure crap. I've had to resort to making my own screensavers on the Linux machine.

However, in this day and age of 64-bit Windows 7, my 32-bit "The Matrix" screensaver is becoming a little long in the tooth. What are you guys using? Anything really, really cool that'll show off the awesomeness of an 8-core cpu/8 GB RAM/1920X1080p rez screen?

I run my wallpaper in a slideshow at 10-second intervals(693 images right now), with my taskbar set to auto-hide, and my few gadgets and icons usually hidden....so if I am going to step away from the computer for a half hour or less, I just minimize whatever I am doing so the slideshow is my screensaver. If I am going to be away longer than a half hour, I simply go to sleep mode.

I don't use any screensaver. I use a wide variety of wallpapers and set it as a slideshow on my desktop.

Not used a Screen Saver since Windows XP!! It goes to sleep after 15mins of inactivity, I recommend you do the same!! Think about the environment!!

Just think of all them polar bears falling off there iceburg while they sleep should be enough for you to do the same

Why use a screensaver, what's the point? You don't have the old CRT right? Or maybe you got a plasma display? Otherwise I see no point, seriously.

Why not? It's part of the operating system, why not use it? I'm into eye candy. I like cool stuff on my computer. I don't care if you choose to use one or not. I like them and came here looking for cool visuals for my machine. I did not come here looking for ways to save the planet nor do I care weather or not there's any merit to running a screensaver on a non- CRT monitor.

I created my own screen saver with pictures of my dog, family, etc. I like to think of it as a large digital picture frame - Use pictures as a screen saver.

Just the desktop slideshow, It would be the same pics I used in a screensaver anyway.
