Solved When installing windows 7 on a clean hard drive i don't get prompted.

i've recently bought a new PC and have been trying to install windows7 from disc on to it's clean hard drive, with no success. I put the disc in and restart my computer and it brings me to the windows error recovery screen, these are the options i get: safe mode, safe mode with networking, safe mode with command prompt, last known good configuration (advanced) and start windows normally. i have made sure that it boots from the DVD drive and still nothing happens. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

You are setting the PC to boot the DVD first, have a look at this this tutorial linked below.

As stated in my original post, i have used both the HDD boot and the DVD boot, so this does not help me
