Will be undertaking a total upgrade from the case upwards next year.
Case, motherboard, ram, cpu and last but not least a 2TB SSD, but before I do that everything will be backed up to the cloud
No Wi-Fi drivers, on install of Win-7? For this old tech, that is just expected performance for Windows 7.
It's a great little OS, but it's driver pack leaves a lot to be desired. You'll need motherboard drivers on disk.

On the other hand, the driver pack that comes with Windows 8.1 is GREAT! Likewise Windows 10.*
* I am not pushing an upgrade to either OS. I love Win-7 and I'm sticking with it.

If I install Windows 7 (any version) on my main PC, that I built for myself several years ago (2014) I have to dig out the Drivers Disk that came with my Gigabyte motherboard, to load the sound, LAN, USB 3.0, and video drivers.

Sorry....but that's just the way it works, and I can't do anything about it.

Good Luck Mate!
