Hello forum

Question

I have an Msi Gaming 5 motherboard.

I feel like my computer isn't performing as well. I will reinstall windows 7 sooner or later and i think that should be good enough.

But i want to add more RAM, if anyone could find some links please maybe from ebay uk?

I want 32gb but if there is 16gb i might take that.

You would need 4 x 8gb sticks for 32 gb. Or 2 x8gb sticks for 16gb. They are about £25 a stick at cex.

If you read the manual, it will tell you.

I already posted links for 1600 and 2400, coz that is all they have at cex.

Either will work on your mobo. Depends if you want to overclock.

At the link I posted for your mobo, it says

DDR3 1066/1333/1600/1866*/2000*/2133*/2200*/2400*/2600*/2666*/2800*/3000*/3100*/3200*/3300*(*OC) HMz

Do you need that much ram? Consider how much you use at one time. If it isn't more than say 6-8 gb than most of it will sit there wasted. You won't in that case get any additional performance improvement than with 12 or even 16 gb. If you don't need that much then save yourself the money and get just what you need.
