I fair while go I went though and disabled a TONNE of services. Some of them were my sharing ones I thinking. I'm unable to share anything on the network or network map. So I'm just assuming its the services a lot of problems seem to be with them...

Also whats the service which tells me if I'm connected to the net or not like the little icon in the system tray always tells me I'm disconnected even though I am ever since i disable the services.

You can manually search through your services to re-enable the ones you need.

Start > "services.msc" > Enter
Now scroll through the window for services that describe network or homegroup connections and re-enable them.

There are over a dozen services involved in Home Networking and File Sharing... These services are not user settings, some of them HAVE to be running for windows to work correctly. In fact there are very few you can flat out disable without sacrificing some level of needed functionality.

Here is a listing of the Windows 7 services and their defaults for various releases...

View attachment Windows 7 Services.zip

I strongly suggest you go through and reset them all to default. If you feel inclined to mess with them, do so one at a time, testing functionality as you go...

Common Taters' advice is spot on. You can go though your list of services, sort the list by disabled and set every disabled service to manual. This may solve the problem.

It won't. Some services actually conflict... The default list is the way to go.

Well I was just disabling unnecessary services which were mentioned somewhere on this forum. I was also disabling services for programs I had installed. I will go through and set them back to default hopefully it fixes it.
