I would think that my school would be interested in the option to boot from a virtual hard disk, as that's what they do with all the computers in several labs.

If you work in a decent to large sized enterprise environment you need Windows 7 Enterprise, bar none.

If you are a geek at home, Ultimate is fantastic.

If you are a standard home user, Home Premium is great.

I don't think id buy Home Basic, but maybe thats just me.

Professional is alright but lacks many features that it should have, if you ask me.
