Why is my internet so slow...?

For my desktop PC I have a USB wifi dongle (no slots in PC to fit in there) and I get around 16 ping, 1.10mb download and 1.40mb upload. I also have my laptop right next to my desktop PC and on the laptop I get 8 ping, 36mb download and 16mb upload... Why is my desktop PC internet so slow, like when I am gaming it's so slow I lag everytime.

My USB wifi dongle is a decent one so it shouldn't be that. (Amazon Link: http://goo.gl/FZPsVP )

Please help me I am having a terribly bad luck since I have had me computer because everything has problems... :/

Hi there,

Your USB wireless specs stating that it's a dual band, is your router also a dual band? Have you tried fiddling with the band setting either/or in your USB or router?
