why my files are attempting to delete automatically

my laptop's files and folders are attempting to delete automatically when i want to open any file or folder.may be it is caused by a virus.can anybody help me for this issue.

Please install a Anti-virus and perform a full System scan ASAP.

We need a lot more information here.

Are you stating you open the folder documents for example and once you do they disappear?

Are your files hidden somehow, possibly by malware?

Click rb: then type in the search "folder options". Choose the top result. Click the View tab.

Under hidden files and folders, choose show hidden files, folders, and drives. Click ok.

Do they appear now?

I would also like you to do the following:

1.) Download herdprotect: (choose the portable version)

2.) Run the scan.

3.) When the scan finishes, save the results per the screenshot below. Then upload the log here.

DO NOT REMOVE ANYTHING YET. I will advise if anything needs removed when I receive the log.
