wierd noises from the audio jack on the computer

Hi.
i have the computer case of huntkey h301 and it comes with front board of USB and audio jack for headphones and mic. when the head phones are plugged in there are some wierd noises... what can i do?? please help

What kind of "weird" noises? How is the audio cable routed for the front panel Headphone and Mic jacks? Dell had a problem a couple of years ago with one model getting "noises" in the headphones. It turned out to be how the cable was routed, and in this case it was bundled with the hard drive's SATA data cable and ran near the hard drive. Rerouting the cable away from the SATA data cable and away from the hard drive fixed that problem.
