Wild guess.. videocard, during Crysis

Well I got technet and burn my isos from there.. so that ID 10 thingy will probably be on my pc all the time

Have you tried the fixit tool to see if the error is rescinded?

Also Ive checked the crysis/pagefile/memory/crash thing on google.. apparently once you change your pagefile and get crashes/erros changing your pagefile won't do a thing..

What about a restore point?

If you do not use restore, tell me you at least use a backup tool to create system images...

When my system messes up I tend to do an OS reinstall.. but when it messes up real bad
With having at least 3 mechanical disks I put all my important files on one of those (email, bookmarks, pics etc)

I prefer having system images and restore points myself. I can use a restore point if a minor problem occurs, or a system image to revert back to between a week and two months ago. I use http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/73828-imaging-free-macrium.html for my backups since that is what seems to be the general consensus as the best backup utility on these forums.

I had a smasung tool that came with an external HD (which I don't use or recommend since my experience is they always seem to break, my nas is doing ok though) and don't know if the built in windows back up works fine

I found the built in backup to be too limited, and it had some side effects that I did not like. I take it if you set your Pagefile size back to default settings, you still are having issues?

Well I did that earlier.. and now rebooted again to make sure windows knows I did.. but will have to check later on issues
It's getting late here..
Tool is called AutoBackup but if I remember correct that tool only works with external HDs (samsung of course)

Alright, let us know if setting the Pagefile back to its intended size resolves the application crashes.

Nope.. that did not work Not to mention each time the game crashes it makes my xbox controler get stuck in feedback..

Try running http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html up to three times to fix all errors.

If it comes up with no integrity violations on the first try, the system is fine and you should try the steps to http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorial...ation-conflicts-performing-clean-startup.html as suggested earlier.

If SFC /SCANNOW comes back with errors after the fourth try, you will need to follow the steps in OPTION THREE of the SFC tutorial to manually replace the corrupted system files using the tip therein.

Usually games seem to install them and I'd say you're missing a couple but that's only for 2005, the SP1 and a fix
Now could it harm if I downloaded them and install them myself

As long as you install them and install their updates, they should help games install and run smoother.

It can help. Not all games include the components needed, which is why a lot of users on here end up with sidebyside errors in their application logs.

Well I guess the first next time I'll install those alongside DX9 which I always install one of the first things
Can't think of any other game-related installations
