Solved Will I be able to install mac software alongside my current Windows 7?

I haven't really had a whole lot of luck with dual boot configs in the past, but I'm just wondering if I'd be able to run mac using my current board GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 775 - GA-EP45-UD3L (rev. 1.1) I'm running a quad-core intel chip. Also, what method should I use? I have more than 1 HDD also. I have a bigger HDD for storage and I want to use that one instead of my main HDD which has only 40GB free on it. My other HDD has 874GB free. I don't have any versions of Mac available either, and I don't know if you need it or not. I have 8GB ram.

Also I don't want the files on my other HDD to be affected, they shouldn't be right?

It is contrary to Apple's EULA to install any Apple OS on non-Apple hardware:

If you want to run Mac software you need a Mac OS and to do that you need a Mac.

So then it's illegal to have a "Hackintosh" as people call it? Ok, what if it's another MS product like windows 8.1? How would I do that? and can I install on a separate HDD or not? I don't want any data to be wiped on any of my drives when doing this. I want to be careful this time.

A Hackintosh is illegal according to Apple's EULA, which you must agree to during the OS installation.
You can install any Microsoft operating systems you wish, just so long as it is compatible with your hardware and you have a legal key.
