Hi CheiFE,

The Windows 7 BETA 7000 will now have started the by-hourly shutdown process, meaning it will shutdown (by design) every 2 hours. This can only be stopped by downloading the release candidate from Microsoft

Windows 7 Release Candidate (you will need a Windows Live id to sign in for the key/download)

Even if the Download hasn't finished when it shuts down, it will continue when you next boot up.

Hope this helps :)
