Win 7 clone ssd invalid partitions table

I guess that you've assembled your computer 2 years ago. I also guess that you installed win 7 by your own.
You've already wasted a lot of time trying to fix it.
My suggestion is to start from scratch.
- Update your BIOS
- Boot from your old HDD and backup your files (that I suppose are now on the SSD)
- On BIOS set SATA=AHCI or RAID, not ATA or IDE.
- Disconnect all your HDD leaving only attached the SSD.
- Install Win 7 on the SSD, advanced mode, erasing all partitions, than create new.
- Install all drives and verify on Device Manager if there is no drives missing. Reboot
- Update Windows without "Recommended Updates". Reboot
- Install all your software.
- Restore your backup

Yes, a lot of time, I'm an INTP, the easy solution is often the last for me !!! I always try to understand and learn...but sometime I have to let go...

The problem is that I have a lot of soft with config that took time to set etc etc not easy to rebuild from scratch...knowing that the problem in my impression is a little thing in fact since I acces the drive, the data is fine but can't "****ing" boot to windows !!!!

I know this is a problem with the mbr from the cloning hdd ssd i cant find how to resolve this...

Ok, you want to fix the SSD boot loader.
Lets try this approach.
Boot from the HDD and install EasyBCD. https://neosmart.net/EasyBCD/
Look for your SSD boot loader. Repair it.
Shutdown, detach your HDD and try to boot the SSD

Thanks, good idea, I did it many times, with easybcd and ntbootauto fix working great too...fixed success...but no chance.

Like I said, trying and trying with many tools I have been able to boot to the ssd a couple of time but reboot and...same thing and not able to reproduce the good manip....

I'm focused on the fact that the error seems to relate to the pbs, active disk partition recovery recover it and shows it ok but reboot and no effect...

Is your system virus free? There are some virus that mess around the MBR. Some will do worst: Mess your BIOS.
Is your Bios up to date? Did you change any parameters recently?
Have a look on SATA configuration. Is it set to SATA=AHCI or RAID

Sata config is ok.

I didnt explore the virus possibility but considering the problem origine is from the cloning...the system cloned was working fine...

If I knew anyone here (saguenay) being called recovery specialist I woud go to him...I dont think a lot of people are able to "play" technical like this...

jumanji is the best SF recovery specialist i know of.
Here is one thread (of many) he helped with, see what you think.
http://www.sevenforums.com/backup-r...-500gb-crashed-ntsf-patitions-became-raw.html

Your problem is beyond my skill level :(

Your skiil level is probably beyond mine but anyways thank you ! He seems to know what he s talking about, YEAHHH

I hope he could see this post and give me some hint...or maybe I can send him a message ?!?

I think I narrowed the problem to a bad 0 first sector on the ssd...I'm now reading on how to edit and correct that...

Definitely keep us posted as to your progress; in the old days a bad Sector Zero physically is bad news, if the problem is "logical" [nonPhysical] -- a repair can be made. However, I know nothing about SSD/NTFS -- I'll be learning right alongside with you.

I'm feeling as fool. I was trying to teach a priest how to pray.
You weren't talking about MBR, boot loader etc
You were talking about allocation tables. It's much ahead my knowledge. Sorry for wasting your time.
But I agree with Roland, if you restore the PBS with the CBS and it gets corrupted, you can have a hardware failure difficult (or impossible) to fix.
Jumanji is one Guru that can help you.
