Win 7 does not recognize 2 TB in external enclosure?

I connected my external 2 disc enclosure (NexStar MX) with 2 TB and 1.5 TB HDDs.
Windows XP recognizes the enclosure perfectly. Windows 7, 64 bit Manage shows "Invalid Discs". What shall I do? I am shocked and frustrated. Do I have to format the discs?! They are almost full. Did anybody come across with this issue? What is the solution? I tried NexStar in another PC with Win XP - both HDDs are recognized.
Please help.
